Lovely hotel close to everything. Our room was very small bit nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely little rooftop pool. Complimentary beach gear available to lend including hats, chairs and sunscreen.

One of my highlights of the trip! Such a beautiful accommodation with such nice hosts who helped me a lot and gave me lots of useful information. It was also really great that you could rent beach equipment such as towels, snorkel sets, sunscreen, etc. My room also had a refrigerator, and you could make yourself tea and coffee at any time. 12/10.

We loved our one-night stay and if we had had the time we would have stayed longer. The staff are lovely and very helpful in organizing your stay. A kitchen is available for cooking and limiting catering costs if necessary. Bicycles (if available) and everything needed for going to the beach are provided free of charge (chairs, parasol, mask, snorkel, etc.). The pool is very pleasant with its rooftop location.

The location was near beach and nightlife and 10 minute walk to the ferry. The room was quaint, cozy, very clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice and helpful. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.

Hello, I wanted to take the opportunity to give some feedback about our stay, and we have to say that it was truly an excellent place. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the first moment. The rooms were equipped with furniture and clean towels, and it really helped make everything feel both clean and comfortable. I also appreciated the shared kitchen, which was well-equipped and easy to use, and the fact that beach equipment was available at no extra cost was a real plus. It was clearly noticeable that you go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for your guests. Thank you for making my time with you so positive and memorable!

We were warmly welcomed by an extremely pleasant Mexican man with the option to leave our personal belongings on site.Our host gave us all the necessary information and good addresses for eating. And importantly, our host spoke perfect French.

Brandon met us at the door when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the property and walked us up to our room. He was incredibly helpful and offered lots of recommendations. He even helped book tattoo appointments so my husband and I could leave with an Isla Mujeres souvenir that will last forever! The property itself was perfect for our needs. Right in the middle of playa Norte and playa centro it was a quick walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Everything was clean and obviously well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning cooled the room quickly, the bathroom was spacious. The rooftop pool was a great option for cooling off at the end of busier days. The beach closet was full of anything we needed - chairs, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, etc. Mermaid and Pearl was perfect and we will absolutely be back.

We are a family of 4 (two being teenagers). We liked the location because it was so close to everything walking distance. We only needed a golf cart for one day to explore and the host Brandon was able to score us a deal. We also loved that they had a closet with beach chairs and umbrellas, that was very helpful! We are already planning our trip for next year 😊 ☀️ 🌊 🤙🏼💙

Séjour court, mais parfait ! Paul et Brandon sont très sympas, serviables, et bienveillants. Le Rbnb est tres bien organisé et la piscine est très bien pour un petit verre en fin de journée. Tout est très propre. L'emplacement est parfait : proche plages et centre (resto, boutiques). Très bon rapport qualité prix ! Le petit + pour ceux qui aiment : les toilettes japonaises ! Je recommande vivement !

Como anfitriones y usuarios de ABB desde hace mucho tiempo (13 años), Kim y yo estamos de acuerdo en que esta fue la mejor experiencia con ABB que hemos tenido. La ubicación es muy, muy buena, no es ruidosa ni está aislada, y los servicios y el personal fueron impecables. Brandon, el administrador, fue impecable, y el lugar es realmente una joya o una perla. Esta es la primera vez que decimos que volveremos a un ABB. ¡Elige la habitación con balcón, vale la pena! Capitán Doby y Kim, Humboldt, California.

I only got to stay at the Mermaid and The Pearl for one night during my visit to Isla, but wow, I am soooo impressed with everything about the B&B. From the minute I entered, Brandon, the manager, welcomed me and gave me a tour of the amenities: comfortable shared living and dining space with details like cookies and treats and coffee available all day; a completely stocked, and spacious shared kitchen. The rooftop soaking tub is awesome. My room, Saul's Trident, was perfection. Again, cool, quiet and comfortable, with extra touches like a shelf full of books and a modern bathroom. When I come back for a longer stay, I can't wait to make avail of the closet of beach gear: anything you need to set out for the day. I got to meet the owner, Paul: friendly and helpful! Definitely highly recommend if you are looking for resort-style accommodations and service in a quaint B&B. As always, the people "make" the place! See you all next time!

We had a wonderful stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Paul is an amazing Host and the entire staff is friendly, welcoming and makes you feel at home. The place is peaceful, beautiful, clean and very comfortableI.t felt like staying with a good friend. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the ferry and within walking distance to Playa Norte beach, Hidalgo, and many other great spots. I highly recommend The Mermaid and The Pearl Boutique and would happily stay here again.

From check-in through check-out, we felt right at home at The Mermaid and the Pearl. Everything was as described on the website, the host was very friendly and helpful, and our stay couldn't have been better. It was an easy walk from the ferry, check-in was a breeze, host gave us a nice tour of the entire house, and absolutely no problems were encountered during our stay. We really appreciated the use of beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella for our trips to Playa Norte (which was a simple walk of less than 5 minutes). Highest recommendation!!
